Don't just comment on any blogs. Make sure they are relevant to your niche.

That's the way I understand it also. For desktop search/visit, there shouldn't be any changes to rankings. I could be totally wrong, but I guess we'll find out starting next week. Either way, I think it makes good sense to head towards a responsive layout if you haven't already.

Manual method - mentioned a few posts above by farkasb Auto method - Install the ultimate WP plugin, and do some reading (good for multi sites) Auto method (paid) - Use a plugin called Backup Buddy. Mainly used for backing up sites, but also for moving/cloning sites.

+1 for getting your money back. Youtube has plenty of good tutorials. Get WAMP (or similar) set up on your PC and try out Wordpress at home. Break it, fix it. work it out. Oh, and if you need a hand setting up WAMP, ask here on again use YouTube.
