I would say go for a .com that you can find free and work on the SEO approach.
If you create a brand, it doesn't really matter. I mean...godaddy is not the best domain name if you think about it.
I don't think word count plays an important role in the power of the article.
Being unique and the power of the domain where it is do, but not the word count. Over 500 is safe enough I would say.
What everyone just said, but from what I encountered so far after 4 owners...it probably has had a hard life and you should go something else.
Always check the domains history before buying an expired one ;)
I believe content is king...but from our point of view it's the king in order to keep our back safe.
We do all other tips and tricks but if the content is bad, it will catch up to us and be our downfall.
