Don't buy their certificate. Googling I saw one guy saying how with something similar he paid the $250 and never heard from them again. It wasn't people using the same names but I'm sure it's the same scam.

The thing is...they only want to talk to you on Telegram and not continue to chat via email and I think the reason is because police can't easily get copies of conversations in Telegram like they can with ordinary texts, emails etc....if anyone comes for them about the scams? This is my guess...

They want me to spend $250 buying a certificate in Japanese. I'm not doing that and they won't pay me the $35,000 without it. lol They contacted me because of Whois. I didn't buy privacy from GoDaddy.

What I thought was with this particular scam from Googling as well as from the messages I got it seems they insist you talk to them via Telegram all the time, because an end to end encrypted service is harder for the police to trace if they ever went after the scam.

Those aren't all about one domain they were about the general topic of domain name selling. In fact I have never mentioned the specific domain names I've bought at all because I am not an upgraded member and not trying to sell things here.
