I don't know what Google wants anymore. Content was always king, but now they are killing ranks on content sites and in some cases deindexing sites completely.(accept for their buddies at Demand Media, whose IPO is just about to happen).
I'm rethinking everything I do online right now. My plan...
Maybe you had posts that were ranking higher in the search engines for products that people were really buying. Then, maybe new low converting posts came into play, pushing your high converting posts out of the way.
This week I had 50 plus sites that got deindexed.
I have another group of 200 sites that I'm worried will suffer a similar fate, in that they all have adsense on them. ( Everything about those sites is white hat, but I don't trust Google at all).
I plan on selling the domains on Sedo...
Happened to me on Sunday. Over 50 sites. Boom! Gone!
Something is happening in the new algo that I think is triggering a manual review. I think the manual reviewer tries to find connections between all the sites via whois and adsense ID.
BTW - Interesting read in TechCrunch this week -...
I lost 50 plus sites this week, so I feel your pain.
Probably went through adsense ID and whois info on a manual review to get what they could.
Any updates on how the 301 direct strategy worked?
Makes me want to sell the rest of my portfolio that is still indexed.
When I use the SEO Doctor Firefox plugin, I get the orange flag icon for product search pages, and the stop sign icon ( non-indexable) for individual product pages using my amazon aff ID>
Hi all,
I have over 50 urls which were recently deindexed. Working on making a plan on what to do with these sites.
Have any of you done 301 directs to something like Amazon? To where you can actually rank an affiliate page?
