Are you sure about this? If I do a reverse image search on Google for your modified image (mirrored with blue tint), either with or without the text, the original image crops up a lot of times in the "pages that include matching images" section.

Not permanently. You can reapply after reaching the new requirements. The review is at least partially manual though, so panic if you think you're likely to be rejected.

By the way, everyone, a thread of mine got merged into this one, so that's why some posts by myself and others may look a bit out of place. Strange. I run a channel which is in the looping business and have had no issues. Not heard of anyone having problems due to looped content either.

Correct. Basically I have saturated the search results for one topic which works out really nicely in terms of views and money but very few people subscribe since there's no reason to stick around.
