I personally use Wordpress Backup to dropbox it has premium versions but i don't need that functionality for my site. I am not on Godaddy but it does backup both db and files and allows you to select the directories you want backed up

A small solution I thought of but still have to try is... set posts to publish as drafts, then weed out the bad ones and script the remainder to auto post every so often
