Maybe you could use anonymous off shore providers if you want to safe guard your privacy. Some allow you to pay in crypto and not use your actual details. Iceland pretty good country with strong privacy laws.
100% the challenge is finding good blogs related to your niche that are non-spam and will to accept your work without a fee. I blog in the crypto space and it's very difficult to find good opportunities. Therefore the larger players with big budgets remain dominant.
Godaddy sites will rank fine but I've never been a fan of both their cost and customer service. Hostinger may be a cheaper solution and there are many others.
Guest posting has always worked for me. It's time consuming but definitely boosts SEO in an authentic way. Choose sites that exceed your own DA and you should be good.
