I went to Lambda School to learn programming, which was needed for the hookup i got (working at a startup). I think what helped the most is making me DO IT consistently which is what I previously lacked.

That may be true, but our experiences are mostly routed by finances. The chances to explore the world are much higher with more money rather than little money. After all, living in this world is all about experiences, and unfortunately you'll probably get the most out of it with more money.

I'm a workaholic and it does get in the way of my weekends sometimes and my spouse hates it. With programming though, you kinda have to grind every day or else you're just prolonging your skill level and the tech doesn't stop improving/changing.

Around 16 here and there but only got serious with it when my friend was making bank from working at Toptal, so i ended up learning as fast as I can lol.

If you want to learn Python, learn C first.
