Let's assume I register on a website. Is there any way I can check if my password is stored securely, that is salted MD5? In my opinion any webmaster can just crosscheck my login details on many networking sites etc... What are your views?

Sorry for asking silly questions, just wondering... Want to understand more :) I'm just wondering if by disabling scripts and editing live page using Firebug / Chrome inspect I can get rid of content lockers... Any experiences on that? (I tried to delete node but then it reloads...
