Its not local, the inner pages target local towns but they are all over the UK, citations wouldn't work as I am targeting the natural listings rather than the local pack.
Hey, just after a little advice. I have a site that is over 8 years old. We have quite a few internal articles targeting local town keywords for a very competitive niche. They are all sitting around bottom page 1 top page 2 area. What would be the best way to boost these up to the top?
We have...
Hi All
I have been tasked with generating leads for a local web design company. It appears that my social profiles have been shadow banned, so it looks unlikely to get leads from facebook. Any suggestions on how you would go about this. I will be doing SEO but that might take too long for them...
I have a site I am working on that is targeting local areas with hunderds of local urls. How would you backlink these urls to get the best traction. Would you concentrate on the main domain and hope it passes to the inner pages or would you try and backlink the local urls themselves?
I am getting the same, Spam post notifications left, right and center. I post in groups and it now looks that facebook isn't showing those posts to many people at all. Used to get around 20 messages a day for the same post, Now getting 1. They are also targetting all my accounts with the phone...
A lot of people still use SenukeX it is one of the softwares we have in our toolkit, But we do not use it solely we use a mixture of softwares to achieve our rankings. All software still works after all the update but you just have to use them differently now compared to how you used them before...
I agree with mostly what you say but have had different experiences with the anchor text diversity. I agree that it is worthwile trying to keep it to a good ratio but the experience we have had is that it doesnt necessarily mean you have to diversify anchors that much. Ass long as you build...
With the penguin update the only time we use scrapebox is for the indexing of links. To get the most SERP advancements out of the penguin update you need to look for more quality links. High PR links with articles, unspun content and you will see huge advancements. I would only use scrapebox...
It can go bad if you do it wrong, what you dont want to do is blast continuously with the same keywords you are targetting, make sure you put through a lot of variations and keep the good links for your main keywords
The anchor text diversification mattered when the over optimisation refresh hit. the content mattered when the web spam update hit. We have been seeing better improvements in ranking when using high quality content links as opposed to spammier spun content.
Since the penguin update Wiki links are doing very well as long as you know how to use them, If you are doing over 1000 wikis then make sure you are using a quality content. Wikis are no longer the spin and blast solution you need to make sure that you are giving google the quality it wants
It really depends, some products do but other products excel during the summer, the likes of the weight loss niche that does better in the summer and in January, the perfect time for people to think about losing weight :)
The only time i really use fiver is for youtube views, likes and comments.
Not really use it for anything else as this is the only thing that warrants it.
There has always been a correlation between analytics and serp rises and falls been talked about but there has never been any real test put into place where it was proven one way or another. This could just be a total coincidence especially if you have been continually link building the whole...
Hey
Great post! One more thing I would add into this though is that you should also look to a more quality content links as opposed to the general spammy spun content. Google is giving more power to unspun content.
