If you buy a domain from Namecheap, Godaddy, Google Domains, etc.. and then point it to Shopify. Shopify will add their SSL certificate to store. You do not need to buy a domain from shopify. Hope that helps.

Jarvee has amazing support. Always get a response in 24 hours. It is a much more powerful tool from Account settings, to targeting, to engagement options, etc... There is definitely a learning curve, but you will be glad you made the switch.
