I got rejected with adsense as well for scraped content, but I waited about a month or so and now I am approved! Just luck of the draw I suppose! No biggie! Don't be discouraged and as OP always mentions, PROMOTE your site! Ads aren't worth anything if nobody sees them. Cheers!

I personally don't think you should clutter with too many ads. The extra revenue might seem tempting but the real revenue is in the subscription plans for posting jobs.

For my social media icons, I downloaded a WP plugin and put it in the Sidebar Widgets. You can do something similar with a Blog link too, but instead you can use text or a custom image that links to your blog. I hope that helps!
