Correct. The only thing I did was build links to diversify my anchor text, and worked on my on-page SEO. My site recovered nicely, although my main keyword never really recovered. My long tail keywords all jumped back up to page 1. Now today they've all taken a dive again.

Has anyone seen any negative results from the refresh? I had actually regained all my first page rankings with minimal link building. (I was trying not to do too much to see what would happen). Now today I've dropped back down to page 5+ for all my keywords.

I've been doing this for awhile so I can vouch for it.. I doubt they'd pull the offer unless a large % of their current customers started abusing it.

If you're using Wordpress, I highly recommend a plugin called "Backup Buddy". It used to take me an hour to move a website to a new domain, now it takes me 15 min. Very easy to use and works perfect.

Glad I'm not the only one. Just got the message today and checked my rankings and nothing has changed. It is unsettling though, I wonder if it's a delayed hit?

In both of those cases did you redirect your old domain to one that was more of an "EMD"? I'm curious if the EMD will help boost the rankings right from the start.
