If you could build only 10 backlinks this month, where would you get them?

I want to test a quality-over-quantity approach instead of building dozens of average links. If you had only 10 placements available, what would you look for before deciding a site was worth getting a link from?

if i only had links I'd care more about relevance and real traffic than just DA/DR.

I'd check if the site actually ranks for anything, if the pages are indexed properly and whether the link would sit inside relevant content.

I wouldn't focus too much on DR or DA alone. A site with lower metrics but real visitors and relevant content can be a much better choice than one with high numbers but no real activity.
