I agree about the comments. People miss one thing: responses matter more than the number of comments. Forty likes under a video yield less than eight comments where people are arguing a bit. The easiest way to get started is to end your caption with a real choice ("Which would you leave, 1 or 2?") and respond to the first few comments with a counter-question to keep the discussion going.
