Karma browser extension: the free checkers right in Chrome​


Karma.Domains now has a Chrome extension. It runs the same free checkers from a popup in your toolbar: authority, age, expiry, spam score, backlinks, anchor text, DNS, WHOIS, cache, page count and traffic. No more opening the site and pasting a domain every time you want a quick look.

Sign in once and the popup shows your account email, your plan and your credit balance. The limits are the same as on the free tools: the first 10 domains a day are free, then it's 1 credit per domain, and purchased credits don't expire. On Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo it also shows domain age and Karma Metric next to each search result. You can grab it from the Chrome Web Store.

Karma MCP: connect ChatGPT and Claude with a simple sign-in​


You can hook Karma.Domains up to ChatGPT, Claude.ai or any other client that supports OAuth without pasting an API key. Add the MCP server, pick OAuth, log in to your Karma account in the browser and approve access on the consent page. That's it.

Once it's connected, the assistant works with your own account: auction and expired search, favorites, filters, notes, share links and SEO enrich, all 31 tools. You need a Pro plan or higher. Cursor, VS Code and other IDEs still connect with a Bearer key from your profile. Both ways work side by side, so if you already set it up with a key there's nothing to change.

If you'd rather pull expired domain data into your own scripts than click around the web app, there are official clients for the Public API now: a Python SDK, a TypeScript SDK and a command-line tool. The repos are public on GitHub under karma-domains. To run them with your own account you need a Pro key from your profile.

No subscription? You can still hit the catalog and the live checks and pay per request through RapidAPI or Apify. Good for the odd batch of checks, or if you already run your scraping on Apify.

Fill in missing SEO metrics on a report with credits​


Ever open a report on a drop and half the summary is empty because the Ahrefs or Semrush data hasn't come through the queue yet? On Pro and Unlimited you don't have to sit and wait anymore. If a service has no data, the Summary block shows an "Update data" button, and one request pulls the missing Ahrefs, Moz, Semrush, SimilarWeb, Keywords Everywhere, Brand Score and Open PageRank numbers outside the shared system queue.

It's paid in credits, and the cost shows up in the confirmation dialog before you go ahead. Majestic and Google still run through the system queue, so those two keep the clock icon for now.

The Categories block in the main filters works both ways now. Pick a niche and hit Include or Exclude, and you can stack both lists in the same search. Under the buttons there are one-click presets too: "No pharma / casino / adult", "No toxic niches (incl. crypto)" and "Add local business". Handy when you're digging through expired lists for a PBN and don't want to waste time on burned gambling or crypto drops. It works for every user and in every table type.

Filter drops by Semrush Authority Score and traffic​


If Semrush AS is the number you check first when sizing up a drop, you can filter on it directly. The base filters have a Semrush tab with two panels. Backlinks covers Authority Score (0–100), backlinks, referring domains, referring IPs and EDU/GOV links. Traffic Analytics covers visits, unique visitors, the desktop/mobile split and traffic by channel: direct, organic and paid search, referral, social and mail. AS, backlinks, RDs and visits also sit in the Combined SEO filter next to the other providers.

Every domain report has a Semrush tab too, with the full backlink block and a traffic summary that shows month-over-month changes and where the visits come from. In the list tables you can sort by AS, BL, RD and traffic, and the AI filter picks up Semrush if you just ask for AS in plain words.

Did you know you can filter expired domains by what Google still shows for them?

Google filters: index and mentions​


There's a Google tab in the filters now. Index (site:domain) finds domains that still have pages in Google's index, and you can add keywords to search inside the snippet title or description. Mentions ("domain.tld") finds domains that other sites still talk about, with the same keyword filters on the snippet.

Each domain report shows those Google results too, titles and descriptions, so you can see what Google has on a drop before you bid on it.

Did you know you can find sister sites of any domain by its analytics IDs?

Website ID's filter: find domains by Google Analytics, GTM and Pixel IDs​


In the Wayback Machine tab of the filters there's a Website ID's field. Karma picks up IDs from 50+ services in the archived pages: Google Analytics (UA- and G-), Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel and a bunch of other ad and analytics tools. Drop in one ID or several and it works as OR, so you get every domain that ran any of them. I use it to map out one owner's portfolio and to dig up related sites around a drop I like.

Trustpilot data: filter domains by rating and reviews​


Karma.Domains pulls in Trustpilot data for domains. You can filter by Trustpilot rating (0 to 5), number of reviews and Trustpilot categories.

The numbers show up as columns in the reports table, and each domain report has its own Trustpilot tab. Good for spotting a drop that used to be a real business with real customers, or for skipping one that left a trail of 1-star reviews behind it.

Every domain report on the Pro plan has a few extra buttons in the header. You can leave a private note (up to 200 characters) and up to 10 tags on a domain, and later filter your searches by them. Keeps a shortlist in one place without a separate spreadsheet.

Print/PDF gives you the full report on A4, with metrics, Wayback and the rest. Share makes a link to the full report that a client or partner can open for 60 days without an account. On live auction lots there's also a calendar button that sets a reminder 1 hour before bidding ends, so you don't miss the one you've been watching.

Name filters: pick domains by the name itself​


The filters have a Name tab, so you can screen domains by the name and not only by the old site's history. Search the start, the end or anywhere in the name (a comma means AND, a vertical bar means OR), and set TLD, length, digits and hyphens.

There are letter and vowel patterns too, for example LLLL for four-letter names, plus name type, industry and language read by AI, and a Brand Score range. The AI part is a judgment of the name and can be wrong, so I treat it as a first pass.

Every domain report has an AI Summary of the domain's history. If your browser isn't set to English, there's a "Translate to [your language]" button next to the heading, and an "Original" button to switch back.

In Chrome the translation runs on-device through the built-in Translation API. Other browsers use a free translation service, and nothing is sent to our servers.

Three new sources: premium .id, .ee registry auctions and EUReg .ro​


Three more marketplaces went live in Karma.Domains today. They sit in the same list as the other sources, with price, end time and SEO metrics next to each domain.

domain.id Premium (PANDI) is a buy-now catalog of about 970 premium .id names, priced in IDR. Internet.ee Auctions has around 60 blind auction lots straight from the Estonian .ee registry. EUReg adds roughly 3,900 .ro domains for sale in EUR, and the ones without a fixed price show up as Make offer.

If you only want one of them, pick it in the source filter under Buy Now or Auctions.
