Hey BHW family,

My Plan:

I hope you’re all doing well. I’ve been thinking about starting a little side project: building a large number of blogs across various niches.
Hypothetically speaking, if I would set up 20 sites—using decent (not the most expensive ones but also not some trash ones) aged domains—and executed everything the right way in terms of content and SEO, would it be worth it in the long term of lets say 5Months+ ? Or is this something that’s likely to be less profitable in 2026 and in general for the future?

Maybe there are some people here who have done something similar and could share their honest opinion?

I've been thinking about this idea for a while, but I haven't really had the time because I've been busy with other things. However, I could start it as a side project since I have the time for it now but just dont know if it will be worth the investment + my time. I know that in the end no one can exactly say if that will be worth it or not but i just want to have some opinions from you guys :)

Hope youre all having a nice day so far!

Honestly I would not even think about staring 20 sites at the same time. start with 1 or 2 sites first and see how they perform then increase what works because publishing quality content is not as easy. Managing 20 sites takes a lot of time and money and 5 months may not be enough to judge the results.

I know it would take a lot of time, but I could delegate the work to various VAs and automate it with other ways aswell, thereby automating much of the process. Of course all the articles would be written using AI but they would be truly thorough and genuinely helpful. Rather than focusing on just one or two sites, I’d prefer to go for scale right from the start. Whenever I try something new, I tend to do it properly, going with bigger value rather than just starting small xd

IF you delegate to VAs, they will further delegate to AI, you can simply do that yourself :)
that is right and thats how i would do it aswell but for some parts it would be better to have an Human doing the work. but mostly it would be AI from my side as i could set that all up myself

You are right, it would be better to have a human at least supervise the work with some degree of interest, but can you trust they would do so if they are VAs that you don't have your eyes on? I feel like trust is completely gone nowadays on stuff like this..

It's funny

Google is combatting work done by it's Gemini app.............. aka Ai

Trying to find a way to let search survive

Old techniques work better than the new now.

that is true the trust is nearly all gone. you have to just hire an VA who you also trust (and maybe monitor his work aswell :) )

Maybe its ture but even if you write your posts with AI but just very cautious and which actually add value it cant really know if its human written or not

I wonder how they're doing it. There's been talk about using watermarking for text generation also but I don't know if they have been already doing that.

Is anyone willing to share the prompts and techniques they use to successfully automate blog posts and related images creation with AI? I’d love to learn what actually works! 🙏

the total number of website that can be run is twenty however, I think I will have tested a few before moving ahead. five months is not much time in the SEO world, even for aged domains.

Running 20 blogs at once sounds tough unless you already have a system for content and maintenance. I'd test a few sites first and track traffic and revenue for several months before investing in all 20.

I own a free blog network of about 1,000 sites , plus an additional 200 + buffer sites created through Web 2.0 accounts. These blogs are built to host my tier‑1 links and generate backlinks for my money site. Instead of automating tier 1, I automate tier 2: all tier‑2 push links point to the tier‑1 blogs in my network, and about 80 % of them rank on their own.

These sites aren’t money sites; they were created as early as 2012. I scraped content from other sites or RSS feeds and rewrote it using Word AI or SpinWriter (I miss those days, lol). Some of the blogs still rank even though they no longer have access because Google now requires two‑factor authentication, making bulk blogs less viable.

You can still do this for free, and nowadays it’s even easier thanks to the AI boom.

I will try out just a few websites first before spending on all 20 of them. even though you have aged domains, it will still take some time for them to attract traffic nd it becomes really expensive when they fail to attract traffic.

I'd focus on one or two sites first rather than launching 20 at once. Five months is a short window for SEO, and managing quality across multiple niches can get expensive quickly. Prove the model works before scaling up.

Thats a pain in the ass to have sites that rank in top 10 and have no access this happen to all of us. Nowadays I register on my own domains whenever register on hosting using pva google is no no unless we own those phone numbers to provide whenever ask them. anyway what do you mean by additional 200 buffer sites so 1000 websites are from paid domains?

The bigger question is how those 20 sites will make money. Even if AI keeps content costs low, domains, hosting, editing and maintenance add up. Without a clear monetization plan for each niche, scaling could increase expenses faster than revenue.

In reality, building 20 websites might seem a nice idea, yet it will cost you a lot of money, even if ai will do most of the work. I believe it would be more logical to start with the creation of a couple of profitable websites. old domains are definitely an advantage on your part, yet they do not guarantee your ranking and profit. How do you intend to earn with them?

but i think that the real test lies in how well u will be able to keep them profitable for a long period of time rather than how many websites u can create. the costs related to hosting nd content may be pretty signifficant when there are 20 websites. nd some niche markets may develop very actively but others may be neglected.

It depend on experience to write readable blog content to approve for good blog page, need differences in content creation and presentation in making a perfect blog page with consistency in generate traffic to achieve live blog growth than other related/replica blog pages in same niche.
