Was running a group, posting daily, maybe 4-5k members in it. reach had basically flatlined around 300-400 per post for like two months, comments were maybe 2-3 per post if that.
Switched to posting mon/wed/fri instead, three times a week, put more thought into each one instead of just cranking one out daily. within like three weeks reach per post was sitting around 900-1000, comments went up to somewhere around 8-10 usually.
No idea if facebook was actually suppressing the daily posts, but they were clearly competing with each other. posting again before the previous one picked up any comments probably wasn't helping.
Group's a pretty niche one so not sure this translates to a bigger or more general group, could be totally different there.
Anyone else cut back posting frequency and seen numbers go up instead of down?
