tiktok or ig reels for adult traffic?

Both can work, but the main challenge is staying within the platform's rules for adult content.
For traffic, a profile link or link in bio setup is usually cleaner than trying to push direct links in every post. I'd also check the current policies before building around either platform.

Running both TT and IG Reels is definitely the way to go to maximize top-of-funnel reach, but direct domain links in bios get flagged quickly on both platforms.

I have seen better results from using reels/Tiktok mainly for reach then sending people through a clean bio
rather then pushing a direct link in every post . Keep the content platform safe,test different hooks and posting time and track which videos actually bring clicks instead of just views.

With link in the bio, this can get you flagged quickly if the page is not compliant. Seen tips for bio links on BHW before and they normally recomend a clean landing page or use something like linktree

While both sites has restrictions on fast posting, it is possible to conceal links in linktree or bio easily via insta without being flagged each hour Tiktok will shadowban u right away if your caption alludes to something outside of tiktok.

I think it’s worth testing both platforms rather than relying on just one. TikTok can be useful for discovery, while IG Reels may be better for building engagement and moving interested users toward a profile link. The key is to track actual conversions, not just views, and stay within each platform’s content and promotion policies.

linktree is the bit i'd skip, that domain been flagged to death on both platforms so your link dies way faster than a cheap domain you own and redirect from.
also these two arent the same risk. tiktok mostly just kills your reach and the account sits there looking alive, ig actually removes it and remembers the device so the next one goes quicker. thats why i keep the bio link accounts disposable, own profile and proxy each, and never put that link on an account i actually care about

I can agree with that, deep links works better.
