I want to test the waters with Parasite SEO for some affiliate offers. Are free platforms like Medium, LinkedIn, or Reddit still good for ranking quickly, or should I focus on paid options? Would love to hear your recent experiences.

Medium and LinkedIn will deindex or suspend affiliate-heavy posts pretty fast now. Reddit ranks crazy fast on Google SERPs, but you need aged accounts and subtle cloaking so subreddit mods don't nuke it. If you have budget, paid news parasites are way more forgiving.

LinkedIn can work for B2B or professional offers but the audience fit matters more than the platform itself.

In my case, Google sites, and Linkedin works better, and they index fast in search results.

forgiving changes every month so dont marry one. what stays the same is a parasite page is nothing on its own, it needs tier 2 behind it or it drops out the index in weeks. reddit and the q&a sites still fastest for me, medium is a coin flip for affiliate now. i run ser off a verified list at whatever parasite page im testing, 100 or 200 links, and that decides if it sticks more than the platform does << the ones i skipped tier 2 on all vanished, the ones i pushed are still ranking from spring

what i have seen Linkedin and reddit works more and they also get ranked faster

Always use free platforms when testing the waters. Forget Medium. Some of the free parasites doing the rounds at the moment:
script.google.com
gamma.app
vocalmedia (paid but basically free)
repurposed AWS buckets

I’d probably test the free platforms first before spending money. Medium and LinkedIn can still get some traction, but it really depends on the niche and how strong the content is.

I have subreddits , medium and other para sites most of them rank and i am creating them not as money sites ... i am building them as tier 1 before start link building as i am using gsa ser so i want to protect money site in just case happen and i notice tier 1 popping out and one of my pages rank on top 5 and getting decent traffic so i guess its worth and even come more stronger since you going to use them as money sites

Free platforms can still rank, but I wouldnt call any of them “forgiving” now.

Medium is much stricter on content made mainly for SEO/affiliate traffic, and LinkedIn can also limit stuff that looks spammy or manipulative.

I’d test them for legit content + traffic, not as disposable parasite pages. If youre going paid, focus more on placements that already rank in your niche rather than just high authority domains.

I have seen better results from treating these platforms as testing channels rather than relying on them for quick rankings content quality and relevance still seem to matter more than whether the platform is free or paid

site:script.google.com is returning no results now. Has it been deindexed?
