You can check from your Facebook settings, your previous logins. If your account has been logged in from a different country/area than you, then yes it has probably been hacked.

I would not assume it is hacked just because it keeps logging you out. Check your login activity for unfamiliar devices and look for unexpected password or email changes. If anything looks suspicious, secure the account immediately.
getting rejected after login could cause with browser error and could be fix with checking other browser configuration to check the login if getting reject,there should be no chances of login when fb profile get hacked with availability to change the profile register approve details including email address to secure the usage after hack.

I’ve noticed a few notifications, and sometimes messages are sent containing strange links that I never clicked to send.

Firstly i would find out whether there is any change in ur email and or mobile number without your knowledge, because that ws often a larger red flag compared to random log outs. Also look out for any other active sessions and then force them out.
In my opinion, this is a technical issue related to the browser or the application. If your Facebook account had been hacked, you typically wouldn't be able to log in, or the account would trigger a verification requirement.
