Is the 31M IP pool still active and regularly refreshed? I’d also like to know whether sticky sessions are supported and how long the same IP can be maintained.

We have upgraded our products and brought many updates such as:
  • a new pool of 205M+ residential IPs, compared to the old one of 31M
  • advanced geo-targeting: you can now geo target by country, region, city or ASN
  • advanced session management: you can now get a new IP for each request, or use session ids for keeping the same IP for a desired time period (we recommend the maximum length to be under 30 minutes)
  • overall speed and reliability improvement

Hello, I placed an order for the 50GB plan on the 10th, which was priced at $37.50. However, a total of $175 was deducted from my account after payment — this is much higher than the listed price.

My invoice number is #55AgA.

Hi, Member ID #70703.
I originally bought the 50GB plan for testing and upgraded to the 200GB plan as the quota was insufficient.
My dashboard shows two conflicting dates: bandwidth resets on Aug 13 (original 50GB cycle), while the renewal date is Aug 28.
Could you confirm:
Will my remaining 178.84GB traffic be cleared on Aug 13?
Why are these two dates different after upgrading?
I expected upgrading to a higher tier would start a new monthly bandwidth cycle from the upgrade date. Thank you.

Hello! The correct date is August 28 for both renewal and bandwidth reset. We have fixed the display issue.

For Member ID #70703, you said bandwidth and renewal would reset on Aug 28 after fixing the display error. But the system renewed order #OegAg on Aug 13 today, this is inconsistent with your reply, please check this issue.

Forgot to cancel subscription, got invoiced 5 days ago at the moment of payment, card was charged and when I try to get a refund - AI support responded that 3 days passed (payment was 30 min ago) and refund is not available. Apparently it's calculating time from invoice creation, not from payment itself. AI promised to follow my request to the team, but so far no luck. Just be aware that this can happen.

Yes, we do offer a 3-day trial for our Residential Proxies. Normally we do offer 100 MB for trial, but depending on the use case we can offer up to 1 GB.

Thanks for flagging this, and sorry for the hassle. You were right: our system counted the 3 days from the invoice date instead of your payment. It’s fixed, and your payment has been refunded to your card (it may take a few business days to show). DM us here if anything else comes up.

What does your UK ISP show on IP2Location? Is it ISP or DCH?
It will show ISP, not DCH. Our UK ISP IPs come from real consumer ISPs (BT, Virgin Media, Sky, TalkTalk, Community Fibre), and IP2Location shows usage type “ISP” (Fixed Line ISP), not data center. The city and ISP you pick stay fixed for the whole billing period.

Why Shifter: residential IPs in 195+ countries, city and ASN targeting, rotating or sticky sessions, unlimited concurrency

Why people switch to Shifter
  • Top for live residential IPs. Top in the US, UK, France and Canada, and the most live IPs across all five countries we tested, out of 16 networks.
  • Real residential IPs. 205M+ IPs from real ISPs in 195+ countries.
  • Target exactly where you need. Country, state, city and ASN targeting.
  • Rotate or stick. A new IP on every request, or sticky sessions up to 30 minutes.
  • No limits on threads. Unlimited concurrent connections.
  • Plugs into anything. HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, works with any tool or HTTP client. No SDK.
  • Instant activation. Self-service dashboard and API, live as soon as you pay.

Shifter is top for live residential IPs in the US, UK, France and Canada

Don't trust pool sizes. Count live IPs.
Advertised pool sizes count every IP a network sees in a month. We count the ones that actually answer while you crawl. We sent the same test to 16 residential networks in 5 countries: same requests, same server, same settings, one network at a time.

Top across the countries we tested

Across all five countries Shifter returned 390,093 live IPs, against 306,410 for Webshare, 281,121 for Decodo, 276,680 for Oxylabs and 260,977 for Infatica. Germany is the one exception: Shifter placed fourth there, about 5% behind third place.

Shifter also had the widest spread of networks in the US (1,828 distinct ASNs, against 1,591 for Oxylabs), France (147) and Canada (308). More networks means the traffic is harder to block as a group.

These counts come from fixed test sizes, the same volume every provider gets so the comparison is fair. A bigger run reaches more of the pool: with more requests, Shifter returned 450,000+ live US IPs.

Shifter ISP proxies: pick the city and the ISP, 120 countries, 1,800+ cities, 900+ ISPs, unlimited traffic, from $10/month

ISP Proxies: pick the city, pick the ISP
Real residential IPs from home ISPs. You choose the city and the ISP (ASN) for every proxy, and it keeps both for the whole billing period, while its address refreshes naturally like a real home connection. That looks far more human than an IP that never changes.
  • 120 countries, 1,800+ cities, 900+ ISPs (ASNs). Put every IP in one city or spread them across as many as you need.
  • City and ISP locked for the whole billing period.
  • Real IPs from Tier 1 home ISPs, not datacenter ranges.
  • Unlimited traffic on every IP.
  • HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, API access, instant activation.
  • Live stock by location: see how many IPs are free in every city and ISP before you buy.
