I don’t think you’re too late. Tumblr still has active niche communities, especially around fandoms, art, and creative content. I’d treat it as an extra traffic source rather than your main one, and test it for a few weeks to see if your niche gets clicks.
 
yea it can help with traffic but it changed a lot, it is especially for niche communities, so it depends what you are sharing there, for example, there is a gigantic book readers community which you could never find on IG, FB or Reddit...
 
Tumblr is no longer a top platform to focus on if your goal is to drive traffic. I’ve tested it for several months, but the results haven’t been very impressive.
 
I’ve never tried Tumblr myself, but I’ve heard about it quite a lot. Is it beginner-friendly, or does it take a while to figure out how to get traffic from it?
 
Tumblr can still work for niche communities, fandoms, art, and visual content. I wouldn’t rely on it as your only traffic source, though. Test a few weeks of consistent, relevant posts and track referral traffic before investing too much time.
 
I still use Tumblr regularly because I run a channel focused on a specific niche. In my opinion, Tumblr is still working pretty well, and high-quality content can still attract a lot of attention.
 
Does anyone check Tumblr anymore? I guess you better forget it for monetization at least
