I launched my first +18 site 40 days ago, and I've been doing really really good, but around the first of the month some dumbasses started DDoSing me for some reason, changed infrastructure and now im chilling.
After they tried to attack the site again with no success, the dumbasses started sending a lot of fake DMCAs to all my links, private sender and just a bunch of random links and pages. They were able to deindex a lot of them,
some are still, but traffic got a decent hit, the site is not dead but a 30-40 percent drop in visits and video views dropped aswell. I've sent counter-notices to all the fake reports, so I believe they will re-indexed soon.
Is there even a way of fighting this type of attacks? I read that changing url and content slightly might work while leaving the reported urls the same to try to reindex, but im sure they will just go for those again.
Honestly I thought about just chilling, waiting for the re-indexing and just keep posting content and growing the catalog. I'd rather play the long game than going and sending fake dmcas to all my competitors ( which would take an insane amount of time and resources).
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation before? How did yall handle it , or what do yall think yall would do if it ever happpened?
