How can i start a news/memes telegram and grow it? Would a niche like this even work on telegram? Would news about gaming be a good ideia? What about the toy's niche?

Yes, Telegram can work for niche news/memes.

Gaming: Great potential; large audience + lots of content.

Toys: Smaller, but good if very specific (LEGO, Pokémon, Hot Wheels).

General news: Bigger audience, but much more competition.

Best starting idea: Gaming news + memes.

Grow with short, frequent posts + TikTok/Instagram/YouTube Shorts → Telegram.

To build an audience for your Telegram channel, you need to buy advertising from established influencers. These could be world-famous figures (which is very expensive) or local ones—the latter being a better option when you are just starting out.

Gaming news works on Telegram but speed is the whole game people follow a news channel because you post it before they see it elsewhere. If you can't be fast, lean into memes and commentary, they don't depend on being first. Early growth is mostly post swaps with channels your size and being active in comments of bigger related channels. Toys is smaller but easier to monetize with deal/drop posts, so it depends if you want audience or money first.

I think gaming news is a better bet than toys
Bigger audience, constant content, people actually stick around.
Toys is way more limited unless you’re super specific (like rare collectibles or one brand).

yeah yeah im doing gaming news. Any tips on how to grow the channel from 0?

Yes a news/meme Telegram channel can work, and gaming is a particularly natural fit. Telegram is built around broadcast channels, public channels are searchable, and Telegram now has recommendation/similar-channel features that can help discovery.

gaming could work better than just general news imo. I’d pick one clear topic first and post the same type of stuff every day so people know what they’re joining for. then test a few promo posts in other related channels and see which ones bring real subs not just views.

If you have great ideas for gaming news and memes, you can build a following for your Telegram channel by joining relevant groups. Alternatively, you can promote your posts to attract a large number of users to your group; posting frequently and engaging actively is the optimal growth strategy.
