Hi everyone. I am going to do an experiment for the next 100 days where I post 400 times a day to Instagram.

The goal: To build an "audience first" business where I grow an audience before deciding what to sell them.

Here are the bullet points:

100 accounts
4 posts per day
Meme / viral content
Original video footage (me)
Copied viral captions (stolen from other videos)
5 VAs

My background:

I have been doing OnlyFans management for the past 4 years and I am looking for a way out. Things are much harder now that they used to be. More competitive, stricter platforms, more saturated, etc. Taboo, people think ur a pervert, etc. Just over it.

However, during the past 4 years I have picked up a few valuable skills: Running multiple accounts and developing an eye for viral content.

The problem with OFM is that you are constantly fighting a battle with platforms that ban your accounts. So the game is not only "make a post that gets views/subs" but also "produce enough viable accounts to post to" which is very tedious and annoying, since the platforms don't really give accurate reasons as to why they banned you.

Bottom line is that despite all this, I have gotten pretty good at running lots of accounts and producing lots of content. So now instead of doing it in a niche that will get my accounts banned, I will do it in the most vanilla / wide-appeal niche there is, memes.

The goal:

Over the next 100 days, my only goal is to post 400x per day. I am not going to set view goals, etc. because that is not something that I can control. All I can do is make sure I am producing enough volume and getting it out there and let the IG algo gods do their thing.

I can tell you in a little preliminary test that I have been doing, I have 2 posts that have gone viral, one of them has 500k views and the other is sitting at 900k+ views. This is between 150 or so posts. So the rate of virality is not particularly good, but it is there. Most posts have around 300-500 views. A chunk have a few thousand, and some have 10k-40k.

Like I said I don't have a real business behind this yet but I am not going to think about that yet. My only concern is producing enough content to feed the machine.

Strategy

I don't think I would be able to produce 400 actually unique posts per day, so I will do it a bit differently. I will aim for 50-100 unique posts and then just spoof them until they reach 400. Then all 400 will be posted the same day to IG. Its not ideal to post essentially the same spoofed content multiple times per day, but I am but one man and I can only produce so much content in a day.

Speaking of the content, my method is somewhat simple:

1. Find viral posts on IG (I primarily look at shares)
2. Download them all
3. Copy their on screen captions and songs
4. Use content of myself instead of whatever is on the screen (standing around, sitting, pouring water, etc)
5. Post
6. Spoof

It's pretty simple and I believe it WILL work to get views because I have seen it work on 100s of accounts.

Potential pitfalls and challenges:

The way I see it there are 2 possibly 3 major problems with this strategy:

1. No commercial value

Let's say best case scenario I get 1 viral post per 200 posts of 500k views, which is more or less what I am doing now (sample size 200 let's say). That would be roughly 100 million views over the course of 100 days. That's all well and good, but these views are spread across 100 accounts with basically no brand identity. Would people buy things from a guy who posts memes? If so, what would they buy? My only ideas at the moment are meme t-shirts and something with wide appeal like coffee. Black Rifle Coffee actually did the same strategy I am doing here, where they built their audience first and then sold something that had wide appeal. It's a flimsy plan but better than no plan.

2. Account bans

I don't really view this as much of an issue to be honest because in my experience IG really only cares if you are trying to take people off site to take money from them. And if you are a man posting original video content (i.e. not reposts and not AI) then you are generally safe.

However, I have had my personal account on my phone suspended many times, not sure why, but it has happened and is annoying. But thankfully I don't run all these accounts on my iphone. Still, it could happen.

3. Boring video content

The content I am copying is for the most part just a funny on screen caption with some meaningless video or picture in the background. In other words, the video itself is irrelevant. Sometimes it's a blue sky, sometimes it's a selfie, sometimes its people eating dinner, sometimes its someone on their laptop, etc. 9/10 times it doesn't have anything to do with the caption itself.

I take this to mean that I can put any content in the video and the caption will do most of the heavy lifting. So why put myself? Well, 2 reasons. First one is that I believe that content with a recognizable person will lead to faster growth. And second is that if all goes well, that means that I will have Andrew Tate'd myself in that I have produced 100 accounts that are spamming my content, growing my "personal brand" whatever that will mean at the end of this timeframe.

Still, I am not the most photogenic person and my content is rather boring. Me standing, me sitting, me looking out the window, pouring a glass of water, etc. I'm 40 years old and not an actor and not particularly comfortable being cringe on camera. However since the caption is what will be doing the heavy lifting I am less concerned with this, maybe just a personal insecurity.

Anyway, that's it. I will keep this thread updated with any viral posts (I won't promote my own pages will maybe just give screenshots with the usernames/content blurred out). Happy to answer any questions.

On a batch of around 100 meme accounts, reach dropped hard within two or three weeks once the content started repeating across them, so I'd track per-account reach from day one.

How many unique posts were you putting up per day between 100 accounts?

For example if you posted 1x per day per account (100 total postings), how many of those were actual unique content (not just spoofed)?

Are you just making small edits to the same videos or actually changing the footage between versions?

I will make around 50 or so original reels per day. These are unique images or videos and unique captions.

Then they will be spoofed (bulk small edits like brightness, contrast, cropping, duration, etc) into several copies until I have enough to supply all the accounts. In the past 2 days I've made 157 unique videos. I try to work for around 4 hours per day, with breaks and stuff in between. Its not hard so much as it is somewhat tedious.

I'm going to work Saturday/Sunday and build up a bank of 300-400 videos, then I will start with the VA reposting on Monday and officially start the 100 days. Currently I am only posting like 9-10 times per day on an account I run on my phone, just so I can have some feedback on what's doing well.

The posts I made yesterday got 2-4k views, with some in the low/mid hundreds. My biggest challenge is getting good video footage. Like I said I'm not particularly photogenic and don't have a camera person, so its all basically me doing stuff around my apartment. Some stuff at the gym but I haven't found the right angles/backgrounds yet. Its a process.

I do have doubts sometimes like, "what is the point, what am i doing this for, etc" because there is less of a clear path to monetization that something simple like selling a service or product. But I am hoping that 3 months down the line I will be able to leverage the audience into something valuable. Its a risk for sure but if I project into the future, let's say I keep this pace of 400 reels per day for 365 days... that's 130,000 posts per year... that's on the level of Alex Hormozi who has a gajillion dollar company. And during that time in theory I would refine the content, get better raw video, and figure out how to make better videos overall. I just have to get past the awkward stage of "I am spending time and money to grow something with an unclear payoff and it feels bad."

Speaking of which, this whole thing will cost me around $7500 over a 3 month period.

VA: $300/mo
Cloud phones: $100/mo (per VA)
Proxies: $85/mo (5 total)

Comes out to around $2500/month x 3 months = $7500.

So its not exactly a small amount of money. And the question I ask myself is, "do I believe that after this I will be able to earn at least $2500/month after this 3 month period?" That's a tough question to answer because I don't exactly know what I will sell. Organic content consulting? T-shirts? Coffee? Real estate? Clipping services? I am not really sure but I will spend the next few months figuring it out as I develop the content further.
