i find out my expired domain had an adult history, what should i do now ?

3 4 years ago , i started a bearing and Industrial Parts online shop , on that time i found an expired domain , submitted and worked on that, but i didn't get results and abandoned that idea .
last week i started again this project and I remembered that domain , so i checked archive and after make sure that in this 3 4 years nobody was used this domain i re registered it
but today i wanted to check my domain spam score and i found my domain had a Chinese sex adult website history before 4 3 years ago and many of that link to my website still exist

now what should i do ? forget this domain ? or google has no negative view about it ??

Keep it and start fresh with your business content. Just make sure the old adult URLs are gone and there are no manual actions.

no manual actions but the old urls are backlinks on other websites

No manual action is a good sign. Keep the domain, redirect useful old URLs to relevant pages, and let unrelated ones 404. The old backlinks alone should not be a reason to drop the domain.

I don’t think the old adult history alone is a reason to drop the domain I’d check Search Console first for manual actions security issues and then look at the backlinks If everything looks clean I’d probably keep it and build the site normally Spam score from third party tools wouldn’t worry me too much by itself
spam score is also too low
3%

I would cut your losses and drop the domain. Recovering an expired domain that has a foreign adult spam history requires aggressive disavowing, submitting index requests, and waiting through multiple google spam updates with zero guarantee of recovery—especially for a real business like industrial parts.

An old adult history does not automatically mean you need a new domain, especially when the site is now being used for a genuine business.

If it has quality links that are themselves not adult related, you might want to experiment it first to see how it behaves. Though the domain might be toast because a lot of time, those adult guys never abandon domains until they're dead.

3 4 years ago i registered this same domain and actually performance was some poor

maybe because of my niche that was about bearings and ball bearings

after that in this time domain was totally abandoned
nobody working on this until 3 4 days ago i re registered it again

Let the new site run normally for a few weeks and see how Google responds before spending money on SEO.

just cancelled

want to start with a fresh domain

wish me lock

I wouldn’t abandon it just because of the old adult history. Check Google Search Console for manual actions, clean up old spam URLs, review the backlinks, and then build it normally. The old history alone shouldn’t automatically kill the domain.

Better of with a brand new domain.

Good luck!

If performance was very poor back then, what do you intend to do differently to make it better this time?

Old history by itself is usually not the issue. Links from four years back pointing at pages that no longer exist get discounted anyway, and domains change hands all the time.

What i would actually check is whether it indexes properly. Put the site up, get the homepage in, then search your brand name and see if it shows. If it still refuses to appear for its own name after a few weeks, that tells you more than any spam score ever will.

Said that, for a real shop a domain costs almost nothing. If this is going to sit in the back of your head for the next year, register a clean one and get on with it

2 times i found 2 expired domain and they were doing well

but this time i think this website is doomed

Check Search Console for manual actions and confirm the old URLs are removed. Review the backlinks too. If there are no serious issues, you can test the domain; if you want certainty for a real shop, a clean domain may be worth the small cost.

I would not remove it just becuz it has an adult past. If google site configuration is correct and there is no manual action, I would restore the site and see what happens for a couple of weeks.
