Hello ever one that is willing to read this!

Before I get to my question I first want to give you a view on my life, what comes in, and what I do with it!

I'm 22 years old. At the moment I'm working 36 hours a week and make around 2.400€ a month. I have a investment portfolio in 3 ETF's with around 10.000€ invested spread out over the 3. I also have a emergency savings account with around 4.000€ in there. I rent an appartment with the total cost being around 700€. and then you have your stand costs like groceries, phone bill etc... nothing crazy.

Here is my question. I feel like i'm in a good place money / life wise. But I want more... not for the money per se, but I just don't like sitting still. but I guess everyone on here has that same "problem". I have tried a few things like, affiliate marketing, YT, Etsy, etc. but nothing really interests me enough to keep it up. So I was wondering if you lovely people have any ideas on what I could do next. Either with the capital I have build up so far or any other business venture I could try out.

2.4k before taxes, even after taxes, is not much unless you live in India or similar.

You are 22. Have some cash deposited directly every month into an index or ETF like you do. That money needs to go out automatically before you pay yourself the rest of the monthly salary. Never touch it and forget about it.

US yields have been going off the roof and prices will keep going up in everything so as long as you invest in a semi-safe asset like a serious index or fund you are good. It will protect you from inflation, save and maybe increase your purchasing power.

With the money/saving investment out of the way, with AI these days you can literally do anything starting out with minimal cost. So grab a pro OpenAI or Claude subscription for $20 a month and start discussing with it every day.

Indeed 2.4k a month is not alot (Luckily it is after taxes tho). I just changed to a new field of work so I'm starting from zero again but its for the better.

I deposit 450€ of my salary directly into the 3 ETF's so thats settled.

I'll looking into the AI field, I have made some digital products / SaaS with it but never felt good enough to sell or ask money for... I'll keep trying tho!

you should do something you like and build a community around it which can be monetised later. you can use small budget ads to grow your community slowly and try out what works

i'd focus on increasing income too, not just protecting purchasing power. at 22, building a high-value skill can have a much bigger impact on your long-term net worth than optimizing a few points of investment return.

Lol. I'm on the opposite end as you. I'm a game developer (mobile games) who recently pivoted into the iGaming industry (online casino games) and have secured a publishing deal with Stake (the biggest crypto casino platform in the world). I pitched a concept to them for a new type of instant game that offers players an entirely new emotional/psychological experience. They loved it and now I'm in. Exciting stuff considering that I just pivoted like 6 months ago

Only issue is, I'm not in a good place financially rn and can't afford the tooling I need to complete the game, e.g Codex AI subscription.

I spoke to other independent developers (on Discord) who also got in and have published their unique games. There's one dude making $30k/month. I know another small studio making $50k/month. This is from their top games alone. I tried suggesting a partnership with one of them but he wants me to tell him my game concept before considering anything and I refuse to do that because then he can simply build it himself and screw me over.

The opportunity is surreal. It's my ticket out of my current financial situation and into real wealth. But I'm in a very funny situation because I'm sitting on an opportunity that can pull in tens of thousands of dollars passively each month (if gamblers love my game) while at the same time not being able to tap into it because I don't have money for AI coding subscription, art outsourcing, and even internet! (I'm literally using a friend's wifi rn).

Partnering with someone who can fund the development of the game with $500 ($200 AI coding subscription + $250 art outsourcing + $50 internet) would be ideal, but I'd rather not give out a share of recurring revenue of my game, for years, all for $500 capital.
I'm currently looking into finding a freelance game dev gig to raise the needed $500. But i must hurry! Because the online casino gaming industry moves very quickly.

If we can decide on a fair revenue split, we could work on this together. There's long term potential to release more games and build a portfolio of unique titles on Stake pulling in massive revenue each month.

Edit: I'm 21, btw
