Does follower count matter on Pinterest?

I think that the number of followers is not important, what matters is the relevance and quality of your pins. Even a small account can go a long way if you choose wisely the images according to what your target audience is searching for.

it matters not as pint acts more as a search feature
than a follower site
 
not that much like people think, you focus more on keywords on pinterest, and always have fresh pins
 
in pinterest followers doesn't matter. it not like the regular social media. in pinterest an useful pins can be able to change your post reach and impression. add searchable keywords, that will give you views long after you post something.
 
It is also important to note that a new account receiving a lot of engagement is normal, simply because your photos genuinely attract viewers.
 
Maintain a genuine account with no suspicious activity, create high quality posts and engage regularly, also, remember to use relevant, high quality hashtags.
 
nah, follower count isnt everything on Pinterest, a good pin can still pull traffic from search even with a small account.
