There is a competitor who has the same name as me but different extension. There website is 30 days expired but not for sale yet. How do I obtain it?

Check the domain status using a WHOIS service to find out the expiration date, registrar, and current status;
Usually, after expiration, the domain goes through several stages: a grace period, then the redemption period, and finally pending delete;
You can place a backorder through specialized services to try to acquire the domain once it becomes available.

It takes more than 75 days for a domain to be back up for sale. 1 month after expiration, it enters redemption period when the owner can still renew it for 30 days, they just need to pay a redemption fee.
After that it will take at least another 15 days before the domain is deleted and becomes publicly available.

Ofc, it is always a possibility that this domain could be in the registrars redemption/renewal process becuz it has been \~30 days since it has expired. whether the registrar will accept backordering and auctions depends upon its WHOIS status.

It could be that the time will not be sufficient for you to witnes this, but there is nothing to fear as this may take some more time. check out the date on which this registrar expires/deletes nd follow the possibilities for auctions/drop catches.

In such cases, it is recommended to verify the expiry date nd place an order for the backorder. however, if the domain name is renewed by the owner u can do little about it.

Try simple ads that explain one clear benefit instead of putting too much info in the creative.

Go somewhere like gname and put in a backorder. If you really want the best chance of getting it, choose channel 1 and pay the little extra.

But that is way too early just wait until it is available nd place the order. this is what the owners alway do each month or so.
This looks like an AI wrote it. Do not wait for it to expire and hope you can grab it first. That works when you have the whole market to look at but if you really want that domain you should not leave it to chance. If 1 person puts in a backorder for a domain you will have 0% chance of grabbing it after it expires, it will not go to the open market if 1 person at any drop catcher puts in the order.

on the contrary, to be honest nd presuming that there is any worth in this domain name at all, it would be wise to place an order in advance rather than trying to grab it after the drop, which can prove to be difficult considering how fast expired domain get scooped up, especially gud ones.

however, if you need that domain name, do not just sit tight waiting for the domain name to be released by the owner becuz you will find it hard to acquire the expired domain name as it will be scooped up pretty quickly.

If it's only being 30 days expired, It's likely still in in the renewal or redemption period, so you usually can't grab it yet. Keep monitoring the domain status, Use backorder services and be ready to register it if it drops. Timing is everything with expired domains.

check/research on domain details for admin mail to write about the expire domain address name if available for sales/dispute to other users and resubscribe/pay to use on new website content.

but if you really want to have that certain domain, then I think you should go for the backorder service prior to its expiration date since expired domains are easily acquired nd may already be taken by the time they expire.
