I have been seeing a lot of sites publishing article after article, but the overall traffic barely moves. At some point, adding more pages seems less useful than making the existing site stronger.

I agree, posting multiple articles are not something that can move the traffic sometimes.

Yes absolutely, when you publish article on website daily basis. It tells to Google to crawl your website again & again. Google understand it and decide it to rank to top spots.

Agreed. I think many sites focus too much on publishing frequency and not enough on improving existing pages. Updating content, strengthening internal links, fixing cannibalization, and building authority around important topics can be a better use of resources.

i agree that is why i have stopped posting any article for now and working on the existing ones

When publishing more posts stops changing the traffic much, that’s usually when I start looking for other ways to grow the site.

For me, the bigger issue is sometimes the topic itself, because more content will not help if people are not searching for it.

There are other ways of making your site rank or perform aside a daily routine of posts. But again it depends on what you want. IMO, it isn't the daily posting that matters, it's the quality of your post and how much it's able to answer or solve problems that matters. So, concentrate more on quality than quantity. You can also rebrand old posts and have them perform better than a newly created post.

This is something that I've also noticed refreshing pages with existing impressions is often more effective than writing new pages have you seen an increase in traffic from refreshing your older pages?

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Sometimes improving the pages you already have can make more difference than just adding new ones every day.

i have seen that too. just writing more articles does not necessarily guarantee more traffic.if the current pages have low quality content, lack of internal linking or do not target popular subjects, then creating another 20 pages is not going to make much difference. it is better to focus on improving those pages that are already generatting some traffic.

Exactly. Publishing more content doesn’t always mean more traffic. If the existing pages have weak rankings, poor internal linking, or lack authority, strengthening those pages can often have a bigger impact than simply adding more URLs.

Sometimes publishing less gives better results because you have more time to promote and improve the pages that matter.

I would focus on publishing higher quality content than oversaturating your site with poor quality content at volume

spamming out fresh content only spreads ur link juice thin across weak links. u should be consolidating ur content, refreshing old posts and purchasing quality backlinks.

Improvement on existing pages also good. AFter this you must need to write article user friendly, and should be research based and SEo optimized for user.

Publishing more pages only works if you're filling actual content gaps within a cluster. Beyond a certain point, auditing and updating existing posts or pruning zero-traffic pages yields far better traffic growth than adding new thin content.

yes i guess there comes a point where further publishing simply adds more URLs with little benefit to add. instead i would concentrate my efforts on updating existing content, fixing up the pages that receive page impressions but zero clicks nd improving links between these pages.it is quite possible that improving 10 pages may prove more benefficial than creating 30 more pages.

More content doesn’t automatically mean more traffic.

Once a site has covered the main topics, improving existing pages, internal links, and search intent can be more useful than just publishing another batch of articles.

sites have been able to accelerate growth by revisiting their existing content rather than creating new posts. it is better for one to have a single quality post that correctly answers the query than having several posts that r hasty. i would first optimize those pages which are currently being indexed, before considerinng posting new ones.
