i have adult sites that get direct traffic from other sites or users go straight to the domain, but barely any from search engines
few of them have really good indexing, but keywords are kind of bad

got some cheap backlinks but still not getting any organic stuff

around 1k-2k vistors per day per site

edit:
i do not own the content, these are 3rd party links

any practical suggestions?

1k–2k direct visitors per day is already a decent signal. If the pages are properly optimized, adding more relevant, quality links could help improve search visibility and bring more consistent organic traffic over time.

however, it may be wise to look at some of the keyword nd the content on these pages. If the content does not match what people search for, then even backlinks would not make any difference.

1K–2K daily visits was good one. I’d use GSC before buying more links check indexed URLs, impressions, queries, search intent, and which keywords have potential. With third party content, also check uniqueness and value of each page and then focus links on URLs already showing some organic potential.

If you’re already getting 1K–2K visitors a day, I’d focus on the pages and keywords first rather than throwing more cheap links at it.

Check what’s actually indexed, improve the pages targeting useful keywords then build a few relevant links and see how rankings respond.

If the sites have stable direct traffic but no or little organic traffic i would analyze the search demand and keyword target before buying any backlinks in addition the indexing content quality and relevance of pages to the search queries should be evaluated.

Indexed but no keywords usually means the pages carry the source's titles, same text as fifty other sites. Rewriting title and description per video was the only thing that moved search for me, boring work but it moved. Cheap links wont fix duplicate pages.

honestly, I would check keyword nd page content before purchasing any further link . If the pages do not fit what people are looking for buying cheap links would not do much gud.

If the pages are indexed but basically have no impressions, I’d separate the indexing problem from the ranking problem first. Check GSC for impressions and average position by URL, then improve the pages that already show some search demand instead of pushing backlinks across the whole site.

any practical suggestions?
This might be a bit far fetched but I have seen adult webmasters doing something similar on new sites.

Since the content is not yours but it comes from a third party, make sure all the content that gets deleted/banned from those sites is available back at yours (use a bot that reuploads the content to any random site and republish it on yours if needed).

Obviously, don't engage in uploading illegal content.

If direct traffic is gud to go then id consider reasons for lack of search demand before investing in additional links as cheap links may only create clutter.

I would just verify from the GSC which keyword the pages are actually ranking for, since if there is not much traffic, extra backlinks would not make any difference.

Affordable third party links will not works in this particular adult niche as content is scraped one needs to blast tier 1 traffic programmatically from expired tumblrs or x accounts for indexation.

Cheap backlinks won't move the needle in the adult niche. If you're embedding 3rd-party content, focus on unique titles, custom tags, and rich meta descriptions so search engines have unique text to index.

First thing is to fix your category pages. In Adult content niche, category pages drive the most organic traffic. Optimize those page with proper url slug, title, description etc. The videos posted in those categories should also have the titles that matches the relevancy of that category. This will be helping you get some serious ranking on Google or other search engines.

With the sites receiving 1k-2k visitors daily i would consider investigating the reason for lack of search presence before buying more backlinks i would investigate the source of direct traffic the search intent indexed pages and the relevance of the existing content in relation to the queries inexpensive backlinks will not solve the problem of irrelevance or inappropriate content
