How to stop Facebook ads from getting limited reach?

My ads were performing great but suddenly dropped in reach overnight. Anyone facing the same issue after the last update?
i think that google does not really care about maintaining ur posting streak. u should concentrate on answering various questions about ur niche nd creatting posts that will be valuablle by themselves. once u figure out what kind of topics work for u, then u can create more articles on these topics.

If you are experiencing a situation where your ads are approved but spending is very slow and reach is low, I would first check the account status and spending limits, rather than simply broadening the targeting.

I am actually dealing with this right now, afew days ago the cost was really lơ but today it suddenly shot up. I'm not sure if I should turn it off and make a new campaign. has anyone found a solution to this??

yeah, mine dropped pretty suddenly too, might be something with the update or the algorithm shifting. hoping it levels out soon cuz the reach has been rough lately.

You can duplicate that ad campaign and relaunch it, or create a new campaign with different content. Sometimes ad delivery or reach can be limited, which may result in lower performance

Sudden reach drops often happen when Meta soft-caps the account delivery rate or recalculates the ad quality score after an algorithm tweak. Duplicating the original campaign into a clean ad set with fresh creative variations usually resets the delivery pipeline without losing learning data.

bro, you should adjust your campaign settings and update the campaign's videos and images; improving these elements will help you successfully pass Facebook's review process.

the change may stem from algorithm updates or audience saturation, causing fluctuations in performance metrics such as price or CPM

Sometimes Facebook algorithm get updated. Or you need to make changes and creative more content. Sometimes if you hit your daily budget or bid caps, the system may limit delivery. Sometimes your ad is flagged or partially restricted which reduces its reach invisibly.
yeah, i’d see if i had any problems on my side before blaming the algorithm.caps, tiredness, and partial bans can all silently reduce reach.

Check your frequency and ad set overlap first. High frequency usually triggers ad fatigue, which causes Meta to restrict reach to protect user experience.

That said, I wouldn't assume an algorithm update is the cause of every overnight drop. Recent data shows Meta advertising performance has been changing more broadly in 2026, while account-level factors can also cause sudden delivery changes.

I'd first check CPM, frequency and delivery. If those changed overnight, it might just be an auction or targeting change.
I wouldn't change everything at once.

I’m experiencing this issue too, it’s very common after updates or when an ad template gets overloaded.

had the same thing happen once, turned out frequency was way up and the audience was just burnt out. worth checking that and Account Quality before changing anything else
