Is Facebook reach getting worse or just more competitive?

I think competition is simply growing, because reach has also fallen sharply in my niche, and the reason for this is that a lot of similar competitors have appeared.

Yes the reach from Facebook posts has diminished. I believe it's due to an algorithm update or problem; but it is certainly true for many people who use the same posting method that you do.

Organic reach is very low now around 1 to 2 percent and the algorithm heavily prioritizes shares comments and Reels so even good posts can underperform if they don’t trigger strong interaction

if your content has a good quality to attract people, then it will be definitely get more and more reach. yes facebook has now massive amount of content creator. every of them is trying to get a place on his audiences feed. so now days its very tough to gain reach and maintain your visibility on audiences feed.
 
Actually i have noticed a similar trend in my experience recently i feel that reach is more reliant on the type of content and audience interaction these days

Yes I did,

Facebook has got strict now, and new posts don't seem to get good views. But my old page is working fine it is not affected so I think this change is for new accounts.
 
Yeah, I’ve noticed something similar. Reach seems more inconsistent lately, even when engagement is solid. Could be algorithm changes or simply more competition for attention.
 
yeah regular posts seem to get less reach now while reels and posts that drive more interaction tend to get pushed more
