First verify whether it came from a real customer and whether it breaks the platform’s rules. If it’s valid, reply once without arguing: acknowledge the specific issue, offer a private way to resolve it, then fix whatever caused the complaint. If it violates policy, report it with evidence. Simple
If it is fake, report the review and do necessary things to get rid of it
If it is legit, respond to the review promptly and ask them to contact you via email or phone and try to resolve it by providing a better service. (Success rate is low, though.)
You probably just need to fix it or address the customer that left that one-star review. Otherwise you just need to bottle up and focus on all other areas of the business so that you can drive more impact, which trancids to you having more positive reviews from your customers. Depends on which platform the review is, if its on a site where it weighs alot i will try to either contact the person and make it good or if its unright have it deleted.
