I have noticed that Reddit can send very engaged visitors, but raw traffic doesn't tell the whole story.. For those using Reddit for businesses, what do you track after the visitor arrives?

Conversions if it is D2C
Reddit shows good CPC and CPM on the face of it, but like Twitter, it can often lead to little in the way of $ in the bank

I would follow up Reddit leads to conversion/sales rather than just visits/submissions sub ids and assisted conversions generally indicate if those visits pay off.

Raw reddit sessions can be stunning, but i would like to tag every post or thread or source and measure both the quality of leads generated as well as the revenue per visit.

monitoring the tracking affiliate sub ids and scrolling depth on the lander, reddit visitors leave the site immediately if they were not hooked within five seconds honestly

Exactly. Visitors from Reddit are very "particular" but highly engaged. For business purposes, you need to monitor to see whether your page content actually matches their expectations when they click a link from Reddit.

Track conversions and time on site, engagement metrics don't mean shit if nobody's buying

Conversions mostly. Signups, purchases, or whatever action actually matters for the business. Reddit can send a ton of traffic, but it doesn’t mean much if nobody converts.
