I have seen people praising this tool; vidIQ helped them a lot to grow their channels. Have you guys used it yet? How helpful is it really? Please guide me about it, as I am thinking of buying their monthly membership.

I used it back in 2022, and it was very helpful, but after that, I did not find a need for it because all the details or information it helps with is basic.

It is a helpful tool in order to see trending topics and busy hours when you upload videos to get the most views and subscribers. I used it, and it was beneficial.

vidIQ is a very helpful tool, but it is not "magic" that will grow your channel on its own.

I'd try the free plan first. Use vidIQ to find video ideas, then check your CTR and watch time in YouTube Studio after uploading. If you're barely using the free tools, paying monthly probably won't change much. Save that money for better thumbnails or editing.

Knowing exactly which keywords are being searched by many people but have few channels creating content for them helps videos rank higher in search results.

It's not necessary unless you're a beginner without a direction. I've seen many established channels that rank videos without even having a description. So, SEO is not the only reason videos rank. However, SEO helps Youtube place the video in the right category and segment.

i'd say its more of a research assistant than a growth button your topic, thumbnail, retention and actual video quality still matter a lot more.

it can save time when you're stuck for topics just don't treat its keyword scores as a guarantee of views.
