Hi everyone,

Can anyone let me know what is the best monetization method that works on 2026 to monetize a business niche theme page with 50k followers, thank you!

Honesty, if I had 50k followers, I would focus on affiliate marketing and brand deals first. These are usually easier to get started with than creating your own product.
 
I’d build an email list alongside whatever you do. Instagram reach can change overnight, but having those people somewhere you control is way more valuable.

This is one of the easiest niche to monetise, you can try one of the following :

-Reachout to Businesses and promote their products in your page via shoutouts and Paid Posts.
-Promote their pages directly instead of promoting their products.
-Affiliate can also be done but I dont think it will work that good.

You can try to sell affiliate products in order to get a commission. IMO the best would be to create a course or a book on your specific niche and sell that for even greater profit.
 
Affiliate, I will search for very good high ticket offers but the most important will be creating an email list
 
I think the simplest way to make money right now on any platform is by using affiliate links. With your 50k fl, that's quite an impressive number.
 
I think the AI filmmaking market will be booming in 2026. You could try learning it and making money from it.

With a following such as you already have, the best and easiest way to monetize will be through affiliate marketing. Get good high profile businesses to partner with you and you get a cut from the sales of the products

So, from what I've seen, the best monetization methods you recommend are shoutouts or sponsored posts, affiliate marketing, and brand deals, right?

But what's the best way to do affiliate marketing on Instagram? Do you place the affiliate link directly in your bio? Or do you create a mini Linktree-style page and put the affiliate links there, so they're outside Instagram? Or is it better to use something like ManyChat and automatically send the affiliate link via DM when someone comments a specific keyword on one of your posts?

And when it comes to affiliate programs, should I look for high-ticket affiliate programs with commissions of around $100, $300, $500, or even $1,000 per sale? Or is it better to focus on lower-ticket offers with commissions of around $30 or less?

That is also not a bad idea to build a newsletter and then sell affiliate through it and also build db, right?

I'll answer the last bit. The only way to know for sure what your audience would respond to is to test. Try a mix of low and high offers and see how they respond. You have to test for at least 30 days to get any conclusive data. Whatever brings the most results, you focus on.

Also, if there are other pages in a similar business niche to yours, look at what they are doing and copy it. No need to reinvent the wheel if something is proven to work by your competitors.
Study them, use your regular IG profile to enagage and see how the interact with you, get insights and do something similar on your page.

I wouldn’t consider 50k followers alone to be something huge. The most important factor is engagement. How many likes, comments, shares, etc. do you get on average for each post or Reel? That matters much more.

I know someone who had only around 8k followers on Instagram and 5k on TikTok. Her niche was mostly dance, fun content, and trending topics. By reaching out to local businesses, she was able to make around €200 per month. It wasn’t enough to cover all her expenses, but it was still a nice passive income.

I would suggest reaching out to local businesses only if you have good engagement. Otherwise, focus first on increasing your engagement.
 
try on affiliate marketing, it would be best for you. because you have a smart amount of followers. or you can work with brands directly for pr. promote their products by your page.
