Do LinkedIn connections matter more than followers?

I've seen smaller accounts get better engagement than pages with a big following. Is having the right network more important than the numbers?
Both LinkedIn connections and followers matters. If you want the right network then you have to find on your own. There are hundreds of professionals on LinkedIn and both has different skills. You have to observe them carefully.

yeah, a relevant audience usually matters more than a big follower count. smaller accounts can get better engagement because their content reaches people who actually care about the topic, not just passive followers.

Networking is better IMO because you can get more collaborations on different projects if you know other people are a good match based on their skills. Also if you are an authority in a sector you can attract more buyers if they know you well enough, than just having plain followers on your account.

I think both are important, because they complement each other.

I think connections are useful for staying in touch with people. Followers can help more people see your posts. Both can be useful, depending on how you use LinkedIn.

I use LinkedIn primarily for work, so for me, followers are more important than connections. Having a large number of followers helps increase the reach of my content and boosts the credibility of my profile.

yeah connections matter more real network beats fake followers counts everytime

big follower numbers look nice but real engagement is what matters more.smaller network people who actually care about your niche can bring much better interaction.

The quality of the network matters more than just the numbers. Relevant connections can lead to better engagement , conversion ,and opportunities while a large follower count do not always mean much if the audience is not interested in your content

Definitely. I would take a smaller network of relevant active connections over a largge follower count. The right connections are more likely to engage with your content, create conversations and lead to actual business opportunities.

I think the right network matters more than follower count. Relevant connections are more likely to engage, share useful feedback, and spark meaningful conversations. A quality network often beats a large audience.

yeah having people who actually care about your content matters more than just chasing a big follower number a smaller active audience can bring more value than thousands who never engage
