algorithm got worse and people just moved on still okay for niche stuff but not like before

A lot of artists and fandom communities moved to twitter discord instagram. When they left, their followers went with them.

I think people just moved to newer platforms, but Tumblr still has value for certain niches and communities if you post consistently.
