What do you look into when a page suddenly sees an increase in its impressions.

Some pages of mine have experienceed an increase in their impressions without my doing anything about it. Do you leave them be and monitor their statistics, or begin looking at what new queries are driving them.
however i would investigate the data within the query instead of immediately making any modifications to the page. this way i would be able to identify whether the increasse was due to new search terms associated with the page by google.

I does not start by touching the report right away. i will dig into GSC to see how things have changed like any new keywords, positions or visibility in the SERPs before determining whether it was worth pursuing.

100%-making changes to your pages without first analyzing Google Search Console searches always messes up your rankings. By identifying the new keywords that will bring in more impressions, you can optimize purposefully. Clever strategy,

I would first look at the fresh queries, and then observe before making any changes to the page. If Google is using the page for testing the new keywords, any changes will ruin its performance.
