Why This Is a Game-Changer
Let’s be real: using an enterprise MTA without deep MailOps knowledge = disaster.

KumoMTA is a fast Message Transfer Agent (MTA) on the planet (proof here).
But out of the box, its configs are barebones. That’s where I come in.

I’ve invested my time, money, and countless server tests to produce a Thoroughly-tested KumoMTA configuration package + a working UI for KumoMTA (released as a bonus on GitHub).

No more drowning in Lua/TOML. I’ve already tuned automations, retry policies, shaping, DKIM, webhooks, pools, TTL, and more.
Drop it in, tweak your details, and you’re sending.

✅ What You’re Getting
  • Full structured config bundle – tested and stable with MailWizz (webhooks verified for bounce/complaint flow).
  • Webhooks ready – real-time event batching so your CRM/MailWizz stays in sync.
  • Advanced ISP shaping – pre-tuned for Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook/Office365, , QQ, France, US Cable, Apple, Verizon & more.
  • Per-ISP automations – auto-slowdown or suspend on TS01/TS02/deferrals and more, to protect your reputation.
  • Pool + source logic – clean multi-IP, multi-domain sending pools with weighted routing.
  • TTL overrides – per-pool bounce-after logic so retries are efficient, not abusive.
  • DKIM signing ready – oversigned headers and secure key paths.
  • Metrics + Queue API – HTTP listener pre-enabled to power dashboards and future UI improvements.
  • Documentation + sane defaults – folder/file structure you can understand at a glance.
  • Security – KUMOMTA is secure, and my configuration even makes it more secure. Provided you are not hacked via your provider level, or the intruder got your root password somehow, somewhere. You are set!

Why Trust KumoMTA?
1) Even AWeber migrated to KumoMTA (case study)
2) Laposta moved from Postfix with Postmastery (details)
3) More case studies (AhaSend)
4) It outperforms PowerMTA & MailerQ — and at NO COST. No more cracked/nulled PMTA junk.
5) Strategic thinking behind it: KumoMTA Performance Update, Moving beyond IP reputation (Spamresource)

My Bonus Service
Already on another MTA (PMTA/MailerQ/Postfix, etc.)?
I’ll migrate you to KumoMTA without data loss (DKIM, SPF, DMARC, PTR, usernames, passwords — preserved).
(Custom order, priced separately from this offer. Typically between $500 to $10,000, depending on how large your data are.)

⚠️ Note on IP Warmup
KumoMTA won’t magically heat up a cold IP.
The difference is: warmup with KumoMTA is faster and easier thanks to the built-in shaping, retry, and automation rules I’ve baked in.
Start right, scale cleanly, and stop tripping global throttles.

What Happens After Purchase?
  1. You receive the structured config pack + quick-start notes.
  2. I guide you on essential edits (domains, keys, IPs, pools).
  3. We validate MailWizz webhooks (bounces/complaints) are flowing.
  4. You start sending — with good defaults and protective automations.

FAQ
Q: Will this work with my existing ESP stack?
A: Yes — configs are modular. If you already use MailWizz, you’re set. Others can adapt quickly.

Q: Do you include a delivery UI?
A: KumoMTA has no official UI. I built a working community UI (open-source) and the configs expose the metrics/queue APIs to power it.

Q: Can you handle migration from PMTA and other MTA's without breaking auth?
A: Yes — that’s a separate service. Your DKIM/SPF/DMARC/PTR and auth users are preserved.

Q: Does this bypass warmup?
A: No tool should. Warmup is required for cold IPs/domains. The difference here is automated guardrails that make warmup fast and smoother.

Q: Operating System?
A: It works well with Almalinux, Rocky, Ubuntu etc. But I prefer Almalinux 9 please.
KumoMTA is a performance MTA that will leverage every bit of power you provide. It may be kind of obvious, but 'more is better' so if you plan to send many millions of messages per hour, deploy the large server you can. You can deploy in bare metal, public or private cloud, with or without Kubernetes.

At an absolute minimum, you will need 4Gb RAM and 20Gb Storage. KumoMTA makes heavy use of both resources and response time is going to be a factor. For high-performance systems you will want to select storage with a fast IOPS and low latency, so local disk is going to be much better than NAS or SAN. Likewise, you can benefit from faster RAM if it is available. Medium is adequate for a minimal install.

KumoMTA is capable of processing many millions of message per hour, or more relevant to this conversation, many thousands of bytes per second. Your network interface could be your big bottleneck. Below is a quick calculation:

Assuming the average message is 50kB and you plan to send 1 Million of those per hour, your bandwidth requirement will be:

You can see that a 10Mbps Network interface would fail you quickly. Any performance system should use at least a 10Gb NIC.

Buying a KumoMTA configuration package? Ask what you will be able to understand and manage after the handover.

A useful checklist:
• Where do you add your domains, signing keys and sending IPs?
• How are sources assigned to pools?
• Where are provider shaping and retry rules maintained?
• How do you inspect queues and delivery events?
• How will you validate bounce and complaint handling with your sending application?

These are practical questions worth settling before you put a setup into daily use. Clear configuration structure and documentation make ongoing operation easier.

My advanced configuration offer includes a structured bundle, quick-start notes, guidance on your essential edits and MailWizz webhook validation, with the community UI available alongside it.

PM me here on BHW with your operating system, sending application and IP/domain count. I can explain how the package fits your setup and what would need separate customization.

Starting fresh with KumoMTA, or replacing a server that already handles your sending? That distinction matters when choosing the right service.

For a fresh setup, describe your operating system, sending application, domains and IPs. That helps establish how the configuration package fits your environment.

For an existing setup, also explain what must carry over: routing, signing, application credentials, and any custom integrations. Those requirements help define a migration or customization project before work begins.

This thread covers my structured KumoMTA configuration package, quick-start notes, essential setup guidance and MailWizz webhook validation, with the community UI available alongside it. Migration is scoped separately.

Unsure which route fits? PM me here on BHW with your current setup and the main task you want help with. I can clarify the appropriate scope before you purchase.

Who will maintain your KumoMTA setup after it is installed?

That is a useful question to settle before buying a configuration package. If you will operate it yourself, list the routine changes you expect to make. If a developer or administrator will manage it, include them in the setup discussion.

Bring a short list of the tasks that matter to you: adding a domain, adjusting an IP assignment, reviewing delivery events, or connecting your sending application. We can discuss how those tasks relate to the package and where you may need additional help.

My offer includes a structured configuration bundle, quick-start notes and guidance on the essential edits, with the community UI available alongside it.

PM me here on BHW with your setup and who will operate it day to day.

Planning to use the configuration package with MailWizz? Include the application side in your enquiry.

Tell me whether this is a new installation or an existing sending setup, how the application is hosted, and which parts you already have working. Also mention any custom extensions or integrations that need to remain in place.

For your own project notes, separate the MTA setup from application integration and from any migration work. That makes it easier to ask what is included and what needs separate attention before purchasing.

When evaluating an email delivery UI, start with the tasks you want to perform.

Write down the questions you expect to answer during a normal working day. For example: what is waiting to send, where can I review delivery events, and which configuration changes will still need an administrator?

Use that list in the product discussion. Ask which tasks are covered by the UI, which belong in configuration, and which would require custom work. It gives you a concrete way to assess fit before buying.

This thread is for my KumoMTA configuration package, with a community UI available alongside it. I can discuss the package and your requirements together.

PM me here on BHW with your current stack and the three operating tasks that matter most to you.

Have a custom sending setup? Make a list of the parts that differ from a standard installation before choosing a configuration package.

Examples to mention in your enquiry include multiple sending applications, existing routing requirements, custom event handling, or an established deployment process. Describe what each part needs to do without sending private credentials or customer data.

Then ask which requirements fit the supplied package and which need separate customization. That discussion helps set expectations about the work and the handover before purchase.

My KumoMTA offer includes the structured configuration bundle, quick-start notes and essential setup guidance. We can review your requirements against that scope.

PM me here on BHW with your operating system, sending application and the custom requirements you need to preserve.

Before buying a KumoMTA configuration package, decide what a useful handover should cover for your team.

Write down who will make routine edits, where your configuration notes will be kept, and which checks you want to walk through before taking over. Ask how future changes should be recorded so the next administrator can understand your setup.

For a MailWizz installation, include bounce and complaint webhook validation in that discussion. Also identify any custom integrations that need separate attention.

A useful way to scope your KumoMTA setup: split your requirements into three columns.

1. What you already have working.
2. What you need configured for the new setup.
3. What requires a custom integration or migration.

For example, note your sending application, existing domains and IPs, routing requirements, and the events you need passed back to your application. This gives the setup discussion a concrete starting point and makes it easier to clarify what is included before purchase.

What should you ask to see during a KumoMTA setup walkthrough? Bring a short list of the tasks you expect to handle after the handover.

Useful examples include locating your domain and IP settings, understanding where provider rules are maintained, and checking how delivery events reach your sending application. Ask which tasks are handled through the UI and which require configuration edits.

Also ask what documentation you will receive and where custom requirements fall outside the standard package. A clear walkthrough agenda helps you assess the fit before purchasing.
