What should be the link building strategy for new site?

I'm new to SEO, and I have a few questions. I understand that the best backlinks are the ones you earn naturally. However, for a new site that has none of its pages in the top 5 of Google results and is almost receiving no traffic at all, it's unlikely to get any natural backlinks. It doesn't matter how good and useful the content is if no one is visiting the site. What should be their link building strategy, and what type of links should they aim for?

keep things simple when starting out. get a few good quality backlinks from websites that have something to do with ur niche. have ur website featured in webssites where u target audience can be found create some valuable content to link back to. do not rush into making hundreds of backlinks just yet. u will need relevancy nd credibility first.

Start with relevant directories, partnerships, expert contributions and genuinely useful resources, then promote them through targeted outreach instead of buying random high metric links.

i'd start with links you can realistically earn or build through genuine outreach, partnerships, useful resources etc. no need to chase hundreds of links before the site has even gained traction.

I'd build some useful content first then look for genuine outreach and partnership opportunities. you don't need hundreds of links when the site is brand new.

As a newbie you should focus on learning about link funnels and link structures. You cannot get any link you get your hands on because most of the older link strategies have become obsolete.

It takes a lot of time to learn but it has its own benefits.
