Do you dislike AI thumbnails?

I feel the same way. Anything becomes less desirable if it’s repeated over and over without any variation. Personally, I prefer unique designs, though that does seem to take quite a bit of time.

What exactly don’t you like about AI content, the fact that AI is used, or the way people usually use it? If used wisely, it can really make the work much easier without replacing the actual idea and creativity.
 
AI thumbnails can get more clicks now, but I don't only use CTR to judge them. The video content is still more important. If the content isn't good, a good thumbnail will only get you a click. I still prefer handmade thumbnails over AI generated ones
 
Think of like 2010s where everyone had an intro made in adobe where it has had the channel creators name spinning around. Thinking to now you never or rarely see it. Ai thumbnails are going to go the same way because its becoming unoriginal and copy pasta.

PS: I think as more and more YouTubers use ai thumbnails they'll all start to look the same and so manually created ones may return again.

It seems ai thumbnails have a higher CTR now though so expect to see more of them for a while at least.

Not only do AI thumbnails look approximately the same, but they also look very unrealistic, and they use them for clickbait. I don't know why there is such high usage of AI thumbnails when people used to create them very unique and better.
