For me, one of the biggest improvements was building trust on diffrent platforms by genuinely helping people solve one or two problems and I’ve found that consistently being helpful goes a long way, and people are more likely to trust your advice over time.

For me, improving the page structure made a bigger difference than expected. Making important sections easier to find helped both visitors and search engines understand the page better.

Honestly, the most significant quick win I have observed was rewriting title tags to position the primary keyword at the very front.

one small thing that gets overlooked a lot is internal linking. even just going back to old pages and linking them properly to the pages you actully want to rank can make a decent diffrence, especially if those old pages already have some authority.
Fixing internal links that were not working and redirecting orphaned pages were honestly my quick win. Less trouble than going out to get new backlinks.

On the title tag point above, that one is underrated. On my end the version that worked was pulling the pages in GSC with impressions but almost no clicks, then rewriting only those titles to match how people were actually phrasing the query. No new content, no links. A couple moved within a fortnight, a couple did nothing at all, so I would not promise it works everywhere.
The other small thing that surprised me was internal links from pages that already get traffic, rather than just adding more links. A page buried five clicks deep barely gets looked at however many links point at it.

Rewriting the introduction paragraphs to immediately jumped to the point in under three sentences instantly reduced the bounce rate. The users just need the answers not the extra baggage lol.

table of contents added that jumps straight to very top of guides rather than being placed at the bottom. Users retention rate was significantly improved and rankings soon followed.

For me, improving internal linking and rewriting weak title tags made a noticeable difference. Simple changes, but the impact was better than expected.

internal linking has probably given the best return from a small change. Cleaning up the site structure and adding relevant contextual links to important pages has sometimes moved rankings more than I expected, especially on sites that already have decent content.

Internal linking for me. I added a few links between related old posts and changed some vague anchor text. Simple fix, but it helped more than I expected.
