Hi guys,

I noticed something odd with one of my PPC campaigns. The network is showing around 500 clicks, but my tracking tool is showing muchh less traffic. I know the numbers may not match exactly, but this diffrence seems quite big.
I am trying to figure out where the missing clicks are going. has anyone else seen a gap like this between the ad network and their tracking?

true. tracking gaps this big mean bots or ad network click fraud before the script even loads.
try filtering out the junk traffic and also do check your tracker settings.

A small gap is normal, but a big one usually means redirects, blocked tracking scripts, bots, or tracking setup issues. I’d compare server logs with both platforms first.

Look at which traffic source has the biggest gap. That can help you find where the problem is.

Just check your tracking setup first if small differences are normal but a big gap can come from tracking issues or redirects or reporting delays.

Open the tracking link yourself and see if it works all the way to the landing page.

Check if both platforms count clicks the same way. One may count every click while the tracker only counts visits that actually load the page.

Some clicks might be invalid or fraudulent, which ad networks sometimes filter out or do not count in their reports but your tracking tool might still record.

Sometimes the page itself is the problem. If it loads slowly for some users, those clicks may never show up in the tracker.

Yes. It’s not always bad to bounce if the page provides a response fast enough. I would check for conversions and engagement first.

500 vs much less is a pretty big gap. Check the tracking setup, redirects and whether the network counts clicks differently from your tracker.

Discrepancies between 10% to 25% are pretty standard in PPC, but if it's higher, check three main things: timezone differences between the network and tracker, page load speed (users bouncing before the tracking pixel/script fires), and bot filtering. Ad networks often charge you for clicks they consider valid, while your tracker might be automatically dropping bot/crawler hits.

check ur tracking link and redirect first, maybe some clicks not reaching the tracker. also see if both are counting clicks same way.

A big gap can happen when clicks are filtered or the tracker misses visits, so check your server logs too.
