Facebook has been quite strict about profiles lately. Even if you've verified your account multiple times, unusual actions like changing your password or logging in from a different IP address can still get your profile flagged.

You should wait; don't touch it for now. I recall that three days ago, Facebook relaxed its facial verification requirements—though only for a single day—and all accounts verified during that time were successfully restored.
I believe there will be another opportunity in the future for you to successfully complete verification and reopen your Facebook account.
As for getting Facebook to stop demanding facial verification, that is difficult; the platform's algorithms are currently very unstable. That is also the reason why so many advertising accounts are being disabled every day.

Since my account was hacked due to a scam, I've had to use video verification for Facebook, especially when I receive so many messages at once. Is there a way to stop this action by facebook?

stick to a dedicated static residential proxy, use an anti-detect browser with unique browser fingerprints, and enable 2FA on the account to build stability

i have faced such verification procedures on platforms in the past too. in case the system keeps doing that despite all the checks, it might be a problem with the securitty of ur account. i would check if there is any kind of alert regarding ur account nd talk to facebook customer service.

usually triggered if you change your internet connection, but if it leads to video selfie you may want to hit up the support and ask what's going on

My Facebook account is working normally now, but the verification process is becoming increasingly frequent and it's affecting me.

I thought the same thing and checked the notifications and emails very carefully, but there was nothing unusual.

happend alot with older or flagged accounts just keep doing the video when it asks no real way to stop it
