Do LinkedIn connections matter more than followers?

I've seen smaller accounts get better engagement than pages with a big following. Is having the right network more important than the numbers?
Both LinkedIn connections and followers matters. If you want the right network then you have to find on your own. There are hundreds of professionals on LinkedIn and both has different skills. You have to observe them carefully.

yeah, a relevant audience usually matters more than a big follower count. smaller accounts can get better engagement because their content reaches people who actually care about the topic, not just passive followers.

Networking is better IMO because you can get more collaborations on different projects if you know other people are a good match based on their skills. Also if you are an authority in a sector you can attract more buyers if they know you well enough, than just having plain followers on your account.

I think connections are useful for staying in touch with people. Followers can help more people see your posts. Both can be useful, depending on how you use LinkedIn.

I use LinkedIn primarily for work, so for me, followers are more important than connections. Having a large number of followers helps increase the reach of my content and boosts the credibility of my profile.
