I was thinking about coding an automation script that does the following. It scrapes Google map for a given business niche,a given country, city, then extract the business name, address, phone, email, etc, after which I either use the info's or sell them as leads? Would this be considered unethical, or even have any value?

There are countless tools with decade long histories that already do this. Also with "vibe" coding being so predominant these days it wouldn't be a hard task to put this together yourself.

Most tools /saas are easily made these days with AI. The big thing is, can you market it and find people? I'm sure there are people who would not be able to do this as they have never used ai but it will be difficult to find actual buyers for it.
Though it makes it easy to produce the text, AI does not have the ability to imitate the real authority, age of karma, or sub specificity.
Real Redditors can tell the difference between AI-produced engagement from miles away. The real advantage lies in the ability to make it seem real.

Its either scrapping the web for data to sell, or starting a website agency that sells websites! Those are the 2 popular noob dreams lol. You can buy mountains of useless scrapped data from fiverr, go see how well they are selling. There will be at least 100 scammers there all on their like 5th fiverr account!! lol
