Had this happen last week, wanted to share.
A client's landing page had been running fine on facebook for almost a month, decent numbers, so figured we'd just spin it up on google too. got rejected right away, reason given was pretty vague, just said the landing page wasn't compliant.
First thought was the account, checked that for a while, nothing wrong there. eventually went back and actually looked at the page itself, turned out the privacy policy link was broken, probably happened during some redesign and nobody caught it. facebook never flagged it apparently, ran fine the whole time. google seems like it actually crawls that stuff.
Not totally sure it's always this exact reason honestly, google feels kind of random sometimes, same issue might slide on a different account. anyway fixed the link and resubmitted, went through fine after that.
Just a heads up, if you're taking a page that did well on facebook straight over to google, might be worth double checking the basic compliance stuff, can't assume the same logic carries over.
Anyone else run into something like this, page looked totally fine but got stuck on some small detail like that?
